Be sure to check out our main website at foodmedianetwork.com if you haven’t done so already!

At the Food Media Network’s website (https://foodmedianetwork.com) you will find tabs to the various podcasts, videos, and courses that are offered.

Culinary School Stories (www.culinaryschoolstories.com) is a podcast with engaging interviews with people from around the world that have an association with a culinary school in some way. Every episode brings you the best stories from people around the food service world whose lives have been influenced, impacted, touched and/or enriched, for good or for bad, from their culinary school experience. And this Podcast is dedicated to telling their story!
From current students and alumni, to faculty and administrators, this interview-style podcast allows for longer, more in-depth, open discussions about issues, stories and tales surrounding culinary school. We hope you will listen in and learn what each of our guests has to say as we talk to them about their relationship to culinary school, as well as their journey, the people who helped them, and their goals and dreams for the future. Join us as we ask and discover, “What’s your culinary school story?”
The Chef Educator podcast (www.chefeducator.com) was created to be a comprehensive resource for new and “seasoned” culinary, baking & pastry, and hospitality teachers, instructors and faculty at both secondary and post-secondary educational institutions.
The show addresses the many issues related to student learning and instructor effectiveness and our hope is to offer a collection of practical and effective teaching tools, tips and techniques that we can all use in our classroom and/or labs.
Each episode of the “Kitchen Lingo” podcast and YouTube channel (https://foodmedianetwork.com/kitchenlingo/) is basically a 5-second culinary vocab learning challenge! In each episode, you will have 5-seconds after the word is revealed before the answer is provided (though if you need more time, just hit the pause button!)
Common culinary terms range from various ways to serve and prepare food & beverages, to kitchen items & equipment, to the names of the dishes themselves. Cooking definitions also come from languages other than English, such as French and Italian, which can sometimes be challenging to understand. However, learning as many kitchen terms and culinary vocabulary as you can helps to provide a fundamental knowledge for any food and beverage professional or enthusiast. Play along with each episode and quickly add to your “Kitchen Lingo” word inventory!

In addition to sharing delicious recipes and my travel adventures in this blog, I also offer cooking classes (https://foodmedianetwork.com/cooking-classes/) for those that are interested in cooking my recipes with me and learning some new culinary techniques!
