The Hampton Social Restaurant

The outside of the Hampton Social restaurant in Delray Beach Florida

The Hampton Social Delray Beach, which is located at 40 NE 7th Ave, opened in March of 2023. As part of the local community, and because I am a food & travel blogger, my wife and I were invited to their soft opening. I love the living wall on the outside of their building!

When you first walk in, you are met with a huge bar that has generous seating around the perimeter. Decorated in a chic, coastal interior design, this is the ninth location for the national brand.

Hampton Social Cocktail menu

For this soft opening, they had a specialty cocktail menu for the guests, as well as a hands-on, make your own “I Glitterally Can’t” drink setup. My wife and I participate in the drink making activity and thought it was both educational and fun!

The “I Glitterally Can’t” make-your-own cocktail setup looked like this. We all had a bottle of Sparkling Rose’, a cocktail shaker of ice, strawberry rhubarb gin, lemon & passion fruit juice, skewered blueberries, and a shaker of edible glitter for garnish! While making my “I Glitterally Can’t” specialty cocktail, I couldn’t help but agree with the tag line on the bottom of the placemat!

For this event, Hampton Social even brought in their corporate director of beverage to walk us through the cocktail making! Click HERE to see a short video of me making the cocktail!

The “I Glitterally Can’t” cocktail was very good! I have included the recipe below, courteous of The Hampton Social, in case you want to try making it yourself!

For the soft opening for influencers, they had a tasting menu for us all to try. All four menu items were served on a single plate all at once.

The Hampton Social Corporate Chef was on hand, as well as the properties Executive Chef, who took time out to explain the menu to everyone. The executive chef Zamis and I shared contact information and I hope to get him on campus sometime to speak with my students!

The menu items were excellent and presented as described on the menu. The lobster roll reminded me of Maine while the short ribs were super tender and flavorful. The beet salad was maybe my wife’s favorite with its contrasting flavors, and the bananas foster French toast provided the perfecting sweet ending to the tasting meal! I know couldn’t wait to come back and try their full menu!

A few days later I was back again for The Hampton Social’s soft opening for family and friends! The menu for tonight was more extensive and offered a larger sampling of their full menu. As a table of five, we were served pretty much one of everything on this menu!

Brussels Sprouts
Crab & Shrimp Bruschetta
Four Cheese Pizza
Manhattan Lobster Roll

Everyone enjoyed the wonderful food and excellent service!
